INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy describes how the AMEDEE OAK mobile application ("App"), published by AMEDEE ("we", "our", or "us"), handles user information.

This Policy complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA); the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 6501–6506; the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA); the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA); the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA); the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA); and other applicable U.S. state privacy laws; the Apple App Store Review Guidelines, Section 5.1 (Privacy); and Apple App Privacy Details (Privacy Nutrition Label) requirements.

SECTION 1 : SUMMARY IN THREE POINTS

1. The App collects NO personal information. No account, no signup, no email required.

2. All data you enter (volumes, parameters, calculation history, batch name) stays stored locally on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

3. The App operates entirely offline after download. No communication with any server occurs during use.

SECTION 2 : INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

The App does not collect, store, or transmit to the Publisher ANY of the following categories of information : identifiers (real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, IP address, email address, account name, Social Security number, driver's license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers) ; personal information categories listed in California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) ; protected classification characteristics ; commercial information (purchase history, products considered) ; biometric information ; internet or other similar network activity (browsing history, search history, app interaction) ; geolocation data (precise GPS) ; sensory data (audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory) ; professional or employment-related information ; education information ; inferences ; sensitive personal information (CPRA category).

SECTION 3 : INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE

The following information is stored only on your device via native iOS storage. It never leaves your device :

- Regional preferences (detected region EU/US, unit system Metric/Imperial, language) : to adapt the display to you.

- Calculation history (inputs and outputs of the last 20 calculations per tool) : to allow you to consult past calculations.

- Batch / cuvée name (optional free text, Tank Aging tool) : to personalize the generated PDF.

- Display preferences (light/dark mode following iOS settings) : to adapt visual rendering.

Status under U.S. privacy laws : since this data does not leave your device and is not associated with any user identifier transmitted to us, it does not constitute "personal information" subject to disclosure obligations under CCPA/CPRA from our side.

You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the App, using the "Clear History" function in the App, or via iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → AMEDEE OAK → Delete App.

SECTION 4 : TECHNICAL DATA COLLECTED BY APPLE

Apple Inc., as operator of the App Store and iOS, may automatically collect certain anonymized or pseudonymized technical data : crash reports (crash diagnostics), performance metrics (CPU, memory, App optimization), App Store install identifier (anonymized audience metrics).

This data is collected and processed by Apple Inc., not by AMEDEE. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy : https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

You can opt out of sharing this data in iOS settings : Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share iPhone Analytics → Disable.

The Publisher does not receive nominative data about users from Apple. The only data Apple shares with us is aggregate, anonymized statistics via the App Store Connect interface.

SECTION 5 : LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY SITES

The App contains links to our e-commerce websites : North America (amedee.us/shop) and Europe (www.amedee-oak.fr/shop). When you tap "Discover the range" or "Order", you leave the App and are redirected to Safari. From that point, the e-commerce websites have their own privacy policies and data processing practices.

SECTION 6 : SHARE FUNCTION

The App provides a "Share" function that uses the native iOS Share Sheet. The App passes only the textual summary of the current calculation to the iOS system. You then choose the destination application. The Publisher receives no copy of the shared text or recipient identity.

SECTION 7 : APPLE PRIVACY NUTRITION LABEL

In compliance with Apple requirements, the Publisher declares the following data collection in the App Store listing : Data Used to Track You = None ; Data Linked to You = None ; Data Not Linked to You = None (or Diagnostics if standard Apple telemetry is declared). Declared Privacy Label : Data Not Collected.

SECTION 8 : CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS (CCPA / CPRA RIGHTS)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights :

8.1 Right to Know — Since we collect no personal information through the App, our response will be : "No personal information collected."

8.2 Right to Delete — Satisfied by uninstalling the App, which deletes all local data.

8.3 Right to Correct — Not applicable since we hold no personal information about you.

8.4 Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — We do NOT sell or share personal information.

8.5 Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — We do NOT collect sensitive personal information.

8.6 Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at info@amedee-oak.fr. We will respond within 45 days as required by CCPA. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

Notice of Financial Incentive : we do not offer any financial incentive for the collection or sale of personal information.

SECTION 9 : OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY LAWS

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), and other states with similar privacy laws have substantially similar rights. SECTION 10 : CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA)

The App is intended for wine professionals aged 18 and over. It is NOT directed at children under 13 within the meaning of COPPA. The App is rated 17+ on the App Store due to alcohol-related content references. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at info@amedee-oak.fr and we will take steps to delete such information.

SECTION 11 : DATA SECURITY

Since no data is transmitted to us, security measures primarily concern the security of your device (iOS encrypts local storage by default), the security of the App itself (code obfuscation via Apple build process, distribution exclusively through the official App Store), and the security of links to third-party sites (HTTPS / TLS 1.2+).

SECTION 12 : INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

The Publisher is located in France (European Union). Since the Publisher does not collect any data from you, no international data transfer occurs from our side. Any transfers performed by Apple Inc. (located in the United States) are governed by Apple's transfer mechanisms, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

SECTION 13 : DO NOT TRACK (DNT) SIGNALS

The App does not engage in tracking and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track signals from your browser. (Notice required by California Business and Professions Code § 22575.)

SECTION 14 : GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL (GPC)

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from compatible browsers as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing of personal information. Since we do not sell or share personal information, no action is required from us upon receiving a GPC signal.

SECTION 15 : CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version is always available at amedee.us/privacy-policy. Material changes will be notified via in-App banner or App Store update.

SECTION 17 : SPECIFIC NOTICES

17.1 Nevada Residents : Under Nevada law (NRS 603A.340), Nevada residents may submit verified requests to opt-out of the sale of certain personal information. Since we do not sell personal information, this right is automatically satisfied.

17.2 Shine the Light (California Civil Code § 1798.83) : California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information for third-party direct marketing.
